I forgot about the new "Nook." Thank you for the suggestion. That is why it is so hard to keep up with technology, there is always something new and possibly better coming around the corner. Will keep you in the loop on what I decide of the choices. Don't forget to let me know what you decided on and what "sold" you. Thanks much!

I too have been thinking about a Kindle, but just don't seem to get around to it - not sure I want to let go of my books. Now though I see that Barnes and Noble has entered into the picture with "nook" which at first glance seems a step above the Kindle, although it is a little smaller. Allows for expansion using Micro SD expansion slot, supports PDFs, MP3s, pictures and graphics, has a color touchscreen, provides capability of "loaning" books and claims thousands of "Free" books.
Now if I just knew someone who has this or could do an actual comparison with Kindle and Sony.
